Put something small under glass.
A cloche does something no shelf can, isolating one object so it reads as worth looking at rather than being part of a group. The Darwin Glass Cloche has a softly rounded glass dome on an antique brass base, which lifts whatever sits underneath and frames it. Use it over botanicals, a candle, a collected object or something with sentimental value. The warm metallic base and clean glass form suit heritage, traditional and modern rooms equally. It also keeps dust off whatever is inside, which matters for anything delicate. Iron and glass construction.
