Let the bedside be the interesting part of the room.
The Bone Inlay Bedside Black is a decorative piece first, with fragments of buffalo bone set into a black surface to create its detailed pattern, so the piece beside your bed becomes something worth looking at. Because bone inlay is worked by hand, the colour, texture and pattern vary slightly from one piece to the next, which is part of the appeal rather than a flaw. A natural marble top sits above a birch plywood frame and legs with MDF backing, giving you a cool, hardwearing surface for a lamp or a glass of water. A single drawer handles the smaller things you want nearby but hidden. It arrives fully assembled, ready to become the detail your bedroom is styled around.

Product Care
- For everyday cleaning - use warm soapy water and non-abrasive cloth.
- Because natural stone is porous, clean up excess water and spills immediately, using a blotting rather than a wiping action.
- If water is left on the surface for a long period of time, it will mark the finish. If watermarks have appeared on the surface, you can try to remove them by using a hair dryer on a low heat and use a circular motion to dry the stone out.
- To give extra protection against hot cups, plates, etc. and accidental spillages, it is always best to use table runners, place mats and coasters.
- Avoid using or spilling products that are oil or petroleum based, acidic or caustic, e.g. vinegar, citrus, sodas, chlorine, nail polish remover, etc.
- Don't use Windex or similar cleaners on stone surfaces.
- Avoid cutting with knives directly on top of stone surfaces as it will damage both your knife and your stone top.
- We recommend re-sealing the table top with a marble sealer (for outdoor tables, use a specific outdoor marble sealer), within three months of purchase, and then every 6-12 months after that. The sealing process acts as a stain inhibitor and prevents most stains and soil from being absorbed into the porous surface, but it is not a guarantee against staining.
- To test whether your top needs to be resealed, just place a few drops of water on the top if it soaks in within 30-60 seconds, then your top will need to be resealed. If it doesn't, then no sealing is required.
- When moving stone-top tables, always have someone to assist you in lifting the table and lift from both ends. Never drag the table as it can stress and weaken the frame or even snap legs.
- With age, the table's appearance will take on a weathered look. Tiny cracks, acicular holes in the stone and colour oxidisation are common occurrences with daily use, but these do not impact on the quality or life of the product and should be embraced as part of the table's unique character.
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth and dry with a clean cloth.
- Do not use silicone-based products or other abrasive cleaners.
- It must be expected that the bone will slightly change shape due to variations in humidity and temperature, depending on the conditions of your home. Therefore, care should be taken to avoid extreme heat conditions, moisture, and light, as this can cause the bone to swell, shrink or start to show signs of cracking.
