Product Care
Metal
- Buff using a slightly dampened, soft cloth
- Don't use brass polish or household cleaners, as these will damage the metal.
Glass
- Use a good quality glass cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth.
- Dry thoroughly with a paper towel or a lint-free/micro fibre cloth.
- Never use abrasive cleaners, liquid sprays or any cleaner that could scratch the surface.
Vents
- Use a vacuum or duster to remove any dust or dirt from the heater and vent areas.
Plastic
- Wipe gently with a lightly damp cloth
- Never use abrasive cleaners, liquid sprays or any cleaner that could scratch the surface.
Electrical & Moving Parts
- The fan motors are lubricated in the factory and won't need further lubrication
- Electrical components are integrated in the fireplace and should only be serviced by a qualified & registered electrician.
Maintenance Instructions
- For ultimate performance and to avoid the risk of fire, regularly inspect all air vents that they are free of dust, lint and other forms of debris that may cause blockage.
- To replace any light globes, please refer to the Owner's Manual for instructions on how to do this for the respective fireplace.
- If any of our electric fireplaces use an LED light strip inside, this typically does not require replacement due to the long-lasting nature.
- Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and dry with a soft dry cloth.
- The occasional use of a natural based furniture polish is recommended on timber parts.
- Do not use silicone-based products or other abrasive cleaners.
- Don't spray cleaners directly onto the mantels as overspray can discolour timber. Instead, spray the cleaning agent directly onto the cleaning cloth and then apply.
- We recommend the use of the Guardsman Wood Care kits, to help maintain the beautiful appearance of the timber for longer
Returns Policy
We understand the importance of customer satisfaction and therefore products may at ESR NZ discretion be returned to us for exchange for a store credit note within seven (7) days of full payment and collection/delivery of the goods, provided all the following conditions are met:
- A receipt as proof of purchase of ownership may be required by ESR NZ to be produced.
- Returned goods are received in a re-saleable condition, including any packaging if possible
- Goods are returned to the location they were originally purchased from or an alternative pre-arranged location.
For Online and store purchases not viewed in a showroom prior to delivery, they can be returned for a full refund (less any delivery cost) within 7 days of receiving/collecting the product/s. The above conditions will still need to be met.
