Rich and grounding without being heavy, the Oakley 3 Seater Sofa in Truffle brings a warmer, moodier tone to the living room while keeping the same relaxed, sink-in character that defines the Oakley range. The 100% polyester chenille fabric has a soft weave texture that reads well against darker interiors, and the truffle tone layers naturally with warm timbers, brass accents and earthy textiles. Cushion filling is a 60% feather and 40% poly fibre blend at medium soft firmness, giving you that comfortable give without the sofa feeling loose or unsupported over time. Zig zag spring and webbing construction provides the underlying structure, and the sustainably sourced pine frame keeps things solid underfoot. Concealed piping along the seams adds a refined, tailored edge to the silhouette. Both seat and back cushion covers are removable for straightforward cleaning. Also available in other colours. Legs screw on during assembly.

Product Care
- Avoid positioning your furniture in direct sunlight where it will fade.
- Your upholstered item should be placed at least 1m away from any heat source.
- When moving your sofa, the best way is to lift it from the base. Avoid dragging it around by the arms or any sewn in cushions, as this may potentially damage the arm or cushion, but also could potentially damage the stability of the sofa legs
- Do not use detergents or cleaning chemicals, as this could further mark the fabric. Use of the Guardsman care products, following the manufacturer's instructions, is recommended.
- A vacuum with an upholstery brush attachment can be used to remove dust and other environmental debris from the upholstery, and under seat cushions (if applicable). Dust/grime can mark the fabric and be harder to clean if left.
- We do recommend professional dry cleaning only. If the covers are removable, you can take them into the dry cleaners. If not, have the sofa professionally cleaned in place at home.
- If the cushions are interchangeable and should be rotated to share the wear. When unwrapping your new sofa, avoid using any sharp tools that may accidently damage the sofa’s upholstery
- Avoid sitting on armrests and backrests, as they have not been designed as additional seating
- Dye Transfer - certain clothing and accessory dyes (such as those used on denim jeans) may migrate to lighter colours. This is increased by humidity and temperature and is irreversible.
- Pilling is a sign of everyday wear and is not an indication of a fabric fault. Use of a de-pilling tool should form part of your regular care and maintenance.
Sofa Maintenence:
- Try to utilise all seating and rotate the cushions where possible to ensure even wearing at least one a week.
- If there are cushions that are feather-filled, they will need to be 'beaten up' regularly to retain their shape.
- If the cushions are left for long periods of time without any care they will flatten.
Wearing in a sofa:
If your new sofa looks and feels a little different to the one you saw in store (it may feel a bit firmer and the fabric a bit tighter), that's because your sofa is brand new and hasn't had the chance to be worn in by many visitors, like the display model has had the opportunity to receive in store.
Give your sofa time to gradually 'wear in' and adapt to your way of life and it will then develop a more casual appearance, each with its own unique character.
Assembly
Sinking into your new sofa is the easy part, but first there's a bit of putting-together to do. Assembly ranges from something as easy as screwing on the legs, through to clasping modular sections together or some flat-pack assembly, which takes a little longer. Returns Policy
We understand the importance of customer satisfaction and therefore products may at ESR NZ discretion be returned to us for exchange for a store credit note within seven (7) days of full payment and collection/delivery of the goods, provided all the following conditions are met:
- A receipt as proof of purchase of ownership may be required by ESR NZ to be produced.
- Returned goods are received in a re-saleable condition, including any packaging if possible
- Goods are returned to the location they were originally purchased from or an alternative pre-arranged location.
For Online and store purchases not viewed in a showroom prior to delivery, they can be returned for a full refund (less any delivery cost) within 7 days of receiving/collecting the product/s. The above conditions will still need to be met.
