Fire & Heating for Cooler Months

When we picture the perfect heater we instantly start to visualise the warm ambience and charming glow that only an open fire can create. It’s about so much more than providing heat and warmth — it’s about making your house feel like home in a way that will stay with you for a lifetime. All those memories of taking it easy and spending quality time with the ones you love are made when you snuggle up around the fire.

Early Settler is the place to come and explore a whole host of authentic home fires that are made with the love, care, and artisan craftsmanship that allows you to add something truly unique to your space. But more than that, it’s a space to create your own vision for your dream home, one charming little addition at a time.

Heating Options For Every Home

Something as simple as a standard electric heater can easily become a focal point if you choose to go in a direction that speaks to your heart. Put the practical thinking to one side for a moment and instead focus on the fun stuff: the aesthetics you’re going to fall in love with. Whether you go electric or natural, finding something that speaks to your heart becomes so much simpler when you have a touch of Early Settler inspiration by your side.

To prove it to you, take a look at one of our latest additions in the form of the Allora Wood Storage piece. It's the perfect combination of everyday practicality and contemporary style, all wrapped up with that little hint of tradition that is sure to make a house a home. Ideal when you want to be able to shape a space that speaks to your heart on every possible level, one stylish accessory at a time.

For those who want to dive a little deeper into the vibrant world of authentic home heating, take a look at options like the Harlow Fireplace. It’s a charming, elegant, and finely balanced piece that is designed to catch the eye from across the room. Not only that, it has a knack for bringing other pieces into the fold so that you can really start to mix and match your options. Perfect when you want to be able to use your fireplace as a focal point that will tie the rest of the lounge or living room together in your own signature way.

Getting the personal touches just right is what it’s all about when you shop the Early Settler way, which is why options like the Perry Fire Screen Brass Antique are proving a popular addition with just about any style of open flame heater. We like to think of it as a finishing touch that can turn any fireplace into a focal point in the summer, not just in the winter when the flames are roaring. It’s this sense of homely balance that we know will make all the difference when it’s time to truly elevate your space.

Choosing the Right Heating Option at Home

Whether you’re searching for electric heating options or are keeping your options a little more open when it comes to home fires, it’s all about balancing style and practicality. To help you get it right from the moment you make your choice, take a quick look at a few of these handy tips prepared by our team:

  • Think about how the light from the fireplace will frame the surroundings as well as how it will illuminate the wall opposite

  • Pay careful attention to any cleaning or low-level maintenance that may need to be done so that you know just how simple it will be to stay on top of things

  • Start matching to the texture and outline, not just the colour, of the fireplace and you’ll be able to really set the tone for a cosy space

Getting the balance right when it comes to home heating is all about combining comfort, style, and practicality in perfect harmony. Take your time to tie it all together and you’ll be able to create a space that speaks to you on a variety of different levels, whether that’s hosting, relaxing, or just passing through.

Why Early Settler?

The beauty of the Early Settler way is that you’ll be treated to quick delivery service and a simple refunds and returns process as standard from the moment you connect. It’s our way of making sure that you have everything you need to create a home you love, and nothing more. That means plenty of choice, nothing but fair prices, and none of the headaches you may be bracing yourself for if something is delayed.

We like to think of it as our gift to you so that when you want to make a house a home, all you have to do is sit, relax, and pick out exactly what you want.
